Well, Nalgene water bottles have been a staple piece of outdoor equipment for decades and with good reason. Lightweight, inexpensive, and nigh-indestructible, the Nalgene water bottle is on everyone’s list of essential gear.

Most Nalgenes are:
Resistant to staining
Resistant to retaining odors
Dishwasher Safe – Please make sure the cap does not touch the heating element
Withstands temperatures from -40ºF to 212ºF
Made from Eastman Tritan TM copolyester that is manufactured without Bisphenol A (BPA)
Have a recycling code of #7, which means other. It does not contain BPA
Made in USA
Retail: Approx. $10-12

Tips/Opinions:
You can shine your flashlight through an opaque Nalgene and use it as a camp lamp
Avoid the flasks and get the original cylindrical bottles
Great for saving money on drinks while traveling.
Most airports do not allow you to bring liquids through the security checkpoint. Simply empty your Nalgene, bring the empty container through security, and then refill it on the other side.
