How can I spoil my pond turtle?

I have a pond turtle. Its outdoors nice large pond and she is coming out of hybernation. I just added fresh new fish to her pond and some lettuce. This is her first major feeding that I have seen her take part in since winter. How may I excite her? I’m going to go get her some live crickets in a few mintues but anything else she would love before I go to the store?
My sweet little turtle baby!
Wow.. no one thinks I am serious… I REALLY have a pond turtle. .This isn’t a joke!

Anything bloody. Shrimp, this is gross but go to your local game and fish shop and get like, dead salamanders or something-mine LOVE it. Worms. Go to a store and go to the meat department. They should have a little package of chicken liver, any store I think will do.
Anything that’s an animal, dead/alive and bloody she should LOVE.
    Hope that helps.

Over feeding an animal is always a danger. It can become QUITE FAT and not be able to pull into its own shell. Health of the animal is the issue.

A little massage… that always makes my kitty purr.

I don’t know much about turtles, but I would think a little extra protein would be appreciated after hybernation. You could pick up a dozen nightcrawlers at the local bait and tackle shop. If you are cooking shrimp for dinner, save a couple for the turtle.
