The amount of hair …
The amount of hair places is just weird. It is the same in my hood. And the weirdest part is they are all busy. How much hair can one hood have???
I think Spyder is a star. She is always cute and funny!!
@2TheLeftOfNoWhere, …
@2TheLeftOfNoWhere, ohhh yes. Plenty of bright in my environment. I did not have the best of childhoods, so I don’t care how juvenile my decorating tastes are, it’s never too late to be a happy big kid!
You have a liking …
You have a liking for intense colors like we do. Not too many pastels around here. Box trained rabbits, that’s cool! I haven’t been to the city in years. I don’t miss any of it.
@OceanTownPictures, …
@OceanTownPictures, I don’t know if I would get shot, but the bad thing about my neighborhood is that it would actually be stupid to think I COULDN’T get shot. It happens all the time. Recently on the corner of a friend’s block in broad daylight, some guy just opens fire on some guy in a chinese restaurant and chases him into the street, shooting into the crowd. Someone completely uninvolved died. So to bring attention to yourself makes you even more of a target. I hate the ghetto for that.
@SilverScreamGrl, …
@SilverScreamGrl, you are most welcome! Anytime! The colors and animals are my favorite, too, of course.
Wow. All the talk …
Wow. All the talk of possibly getting shot if you point the camera at the wrong person. I thought I was nervous in my neighborhood but now I feel silly for ever even thinking that. It’s a shame that you can’t feel comfortable filming because some of those buildings are really fascinating. Have you lived in New York all your life?
I love your …
The hood is colorful as well. I did enjoy our little walk. I’m exhausted now (lol) Thanks for taking us!
I love your colorful home and beautiful little fur and scale babies
@housrem, I know …
@housrem, I know exactly how you feel! I rarely do this for the same reasons, but I keep trying to do it and be discreet, and not film anyone directly. It’s very uncomfortable. Glad there was an added bit of suspense for you though! lol
Hi Troy! Loved the …
Hi Troy! Loved the walk around the hood! Thanks for sharing!
I would love to do stuff like this but I’m always too self conscious about what other people will think of me walking around filming. I found myself cringing throughout yours waiting for someone to yell at you for filming.
Oh wow, I know …
Oh wow, I know right!?
@Ray, I think I …
@Ray, I think I recall your saying you are from around here, too? Or you lived here at one point? Yeah, my ‘hood isn’t so bad compared to some that flank us. A couple that are right up next to us are where most of the shootings/crime happen, which is scary. The salons on my corner always seem to be hopping and happy and they make me happy. I’ve been accepted by most of my neighbors so I’m thinking if I renew my lease, it’s time to try out one of the barbers! Do u think they’ll laff at me? LOL
@Orbital151, you …
@Orbital151, you know, so do I! For some reason, I really like it most of the time… the sense of living in hives with all of these people and we all get along (for the most part). It’s just beautiful to me.
Hi Troy, Gotta love …
Hi Troy, Gotta love NY. And your apartment with bunnies, fish, a pooch, and you all living in harmony. That’s cool. My wife and daughter are both customers of hair stores, but I can’t believe that there were so many in your neighborhood. The stores looked good from the outside, you know, not hoodlike at all. Thanks for the tour. Ray
I THINK the view …
I THINK the view out the window is so great!
