If you use magnum powders, I’m guessing that you’ll be relatively safe reloading. It’s unlikely the case will hold enough powder for a dangerous mistake.
Just be very careful which powders you use. Slow burning, high volume stuff = cheap, safe, ammo.
Yeah I understand. I’m just thankful that I am still employed now a days with the economy the way it is and how our government is ass backwards on priorities.
4538JL, Thanks! Unfortunately due to the cost of ammo, I really dont see any practical use for the gun except to have it as bear repellent and the very few trips to the range just to keep in practice. Cool gun to have or collect, but not really practical as a range gun shooting paper.
I love the barrel length that I have. Still small enough to carry in the woods. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I’m waiting on some dies to show up before I reload, but I’m still doing research on powder loads for the gun. Want something that is good hunting and then a set for just target practice. It will be a gun I keep and hand down to my kids though.
Thank you for the videos. I’m ordering the 5″ John Ross version, they also have a 6 1/2″ Half-lug model if you don’t want to go straight to the super-long barrels.
Those grips are in fact made by Hogue…they are excellent. That is a fine revolver you have. Good luck reloading…it will surely save you a bundle!
nah i hav a 600
@fuckinghellcunt no you dont because 500 is the bigest they go
You should do a video on that. I would really be interested to see it.
Yeah, I’m still reading up on the reloading rounds. Appreciate the info!
ive got a magnum 600 there better

Hi, the overall length is 10 1/4″.
what is the overall length of this gun?
That is the shortest barrel I’ve seen on a 500 I’m used to seeing the longer one. I wonder if the recoil would fip my wheelchair.
hahaha..yeah! and if you miss your target, he’ll have to run back home to change is pants.
This could make for a very interesting concealled carry option. lol
that is a houge grip
good review i like it
Thx aLL for you verry nice video
I think its $3 for 5 bullets to reload,, Otherwise its $47 for a box of 20
