Another recent purchase of mine. This new model Hi-Point 40 S&W has a different styled trigger (much smoother) than the standard models. The trigger is very smooth and seems a little more consistent between pulls (more to follow on that).

He even said in the video that he had already checked it.

I have a hi-point it is really good if you go target practicing
2nd that.. they’re decent guns indeed.
Yes I did, I check the chamber whenever I handle/re-handle a firearm.
It’s done way before I even turn the camera on.
Forgot to do the most importint thing to do…. CHECK THE CHAMBER!!!!!!!
Good review!! I have .40 Hi Point and it shoots great! I also have done a few videos of shooting it to prove they are great guns for the money, plus a lifetime warranty!
I don’t have any hi point pistols but i do have a carbine with an ati stock…folks just need to relax…for most folks the hi points are serviceable and are enjoyed…i have nothing but respect for them…it is not like they are a lorcin or something…now THOSE were trash…thanks for the vid…great job!
hey thats a great video.. I have one of those but i want to clean it, and I dont know how to disassemble, so i dont know if you can make a video on that.
thank you
(W T F) !!! I own a hi point 45 jhp and i have not had even half the prolbems some of these haters are crying about. ?
Them things are expensive
I just went down to the LGS to see if they had any the guy said they would this afternoon so I put it on hold. I have to wait 48 hours to pick it up here in WI and I hope it has the new trigger.
@akcampbell
Its just a high powered round, it has more powder. It can also mean a round that was filled with gun powder twice.
Contact Hi-Point to verify, but all you should need to do is adjust the magazine feed lips (the weak point in the hi-point system).
Nice review millerusaf!
hey miller u are the truth bro.love your videos
Also the C9 seems to have more recoil than the .40 cal and sometimes is a bit slick because of this. If you are in Tx you can pick one up for as low as 120-140 al local gun shows, or for 180-200 at your local gun shops.
I bought two highpoints, a .40 and a compact 9mm. I enjoy the .40 is much more enjoyable than the c9. I have the older trigger on the .40 and have no complaints. I do however have issues with the c9 mag when at full capacity(ftf when at full capacity, but, if I take out a round it functions flawless. The issue I am having is the first round tilts upward and fails to feed. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Also, I will post range vids and review points in the near future due.
Just bought $180 the 45 acp new
Will someone please tell me what a “double charged” round is?
thank you very much will look into it
@Dhusted66 At a local store called Big Bear Sports (they are a Hi-Point dealer).
Where did you buy that brand new for $150.00 ?
I have heard that they have problems feeding hollowpoints due to that issue. That being said, High point makes a pretty good pistol for under $200.
My experience with Hi-point is nothing but fail. My buddy has one and the mag drops out of the well 80 percent of the time. maybe he got a lemon, maybe you get what you pay for.
