Exercise/Running Clothes for Rainy Days?

I love to exercise (outdoors) and I absolutely cannot stand it when it rains on me… Can somebody recommend me a good brand of water resistant/proof gear I can wear that’s decent-looking and isn’t encumbering?

Rain can be funny…I usually do the same thing (avoid running in it)…but some of my most fun runs have been in the rain. try wearing a nylon shell with CoolMax or some other technical fabric underneath. This will keep you somewhat dry and won’t absorb the rain and weigh you down. See the link below. Have fun!

Usually anything made by Gortex works wonderfully in the rain. They are designed spefically for the elements, are light weight, wind and rain resistant. They can be a little costly but it’s a good brand as you asked for and they have great styles. Honestly as long as the outer wear is waterproof you can layer underneath with practically anything.

    Hope that helped!

Rain feels SO GOOD when you are running!

I wear my hooded snowboard jacket (waterproof, not lined or heavy) and nylon track pants.

The jacket is a shell by Nike that I got from Ross and the pants are by Adidas, also purchased from Ross.

Look in your closet, you’ll be surprised at what you find.
