AR15 Bolt disassembly

Made this video for a good friend on Youtube that had some trouble disassembling his bolt on an AR15. Just a quick vid on bolt & bolt carrier assembly removal and inspection.

@opmike343 Just keep shooting that stuff and let me know how it works out. LOL

Okay, however that still isn’t going to “ruin” your gun. Look, I have a BCM that I’ve run all kinds of ammo through. A lot of the people at my club run Colts, Noveskes, LMT’s etc. We’ve all run Wolf at some point. The only problem we’ve had is dirty guns, which isn’t a big deal when you’re at the range. Your statement that it’s going to “ruin” your rifle is simply false. It’s cheap plinker ammo, and in that capacity, it works alright.

  3. mycaddigo says:

Its coated in laquer which ends up in the gun. The higher quality the ar even the more reason not to use that stuff

  4. opmike343 says:

Wolf ammo will NOT ruin a quality AR-15. The biggest issues with Wolf is that it runs really dirty, and will dunk up the works after extended shooting. Shoot all the Wolf you want for plinking a such. Just give you rifle a good cleaning when you get home, and have some quality ammo on hand for more serious work.

if your using that wolf steel russian ammo in your ar your going to ruin it

Excellent video. What would happen if you insert the extractor to the left instead of the right? Thanks again and keep at it.

Great video. Fully explained what parts are in the bolt and bolt carrier.

Hi, I’m using Federals. Very clean and never had any issues with it. Also the chrome coating is not as rough as the black coating which helps alot. It’s one of the main reasons I got the bolt carrier.
