I can get very tight groups at 100 yds and blow out the center at 50 yds all day and I am a mediocre shooter at best. I think some people just like it or they dont. It took me a little getting use to since I came from a Trijicon ACOG 4×32, but didnt take long at all. Yeah your right, some people really prefer or are use to irons. Thanks for the comment.
i used the comp m4 in basic, and all i have to say is that at 25 yards this thing still sucked. Had it all sighted in but still couldnt hit a single thing with it. I prefer irons I guess thats just me.
Thanks! I actually had the micro t1 but didnt like it. I found myself concentrating on finding the red dot alot. The M4 has a much larger lense and the line of sight is much easier for me to locate the red dot quickly. No, it doesnt look feel like your looking through a tunnel. Actually the sight picture is pretty uncluttered when you get use to it. Hope that helps and thanks for the comment!
Yeah your not the only one thats told me. Just my personal experience is what I can account for. I like them both, but kept my Aimpoint due to the battery life. Kinda like those new Aimpoints with the BDC too.
I have both Aimpoint and Eotech’s.., both are great but your are wrong about the eoatech off axis viewing. In that particular area the Eotech has a small advantege over the Aimpoint.
Great video. Thnks. I have a AR and considering electronic sights. This video helped me make my decision. One qestion though. Will Aimpoint work with a tac scope?
I dont know why my reply was not posted, but yes the brightness setting was kept low in the video so that my camera could focus on the background. I have no problems seeing it in bright clear days. I think from the video, I still had another 4 brighter settings left to go.
Actually you are partially correct. Not one single optic on the market is parallax free. There is “parallax” in just about every optic on the market today. It is just the extend or severity of parallax that each optic experiences. Distance is not really a factor, but it does contribute to parallax to a certain extent.
The severity of the parallax along side the durability & quality glass is what makes these optics as pricey as they are for the most part..I agree about the battery life as well. And No, Ive never had a problem with the Eotech fogging, but Ive never went from one extreme to another with it. Ill test it and get back with you on that.
I forgot to ask you a question. When I had my EOTech, I experienced some fogging of the lense when exiting a vehicle with AC into a hot outdoor area. Do you ever experience this with yours? I have an ACOG TA31 that I have tested along side the EOTech and the ACOG’s lense stayed clear while the EOTech fogged up. I also put my Aimpoint into the freezer for about an hour then took it outside where it was 98 degrees and no fogging. Just curious about your experience with the EOTechs lense.

No, you don’t have to center the dot.
Ok thanks, ill try to check one out.

Nice vid man. Whats better this or the aimpoint micro t1? Do the aimpoints feel like you’re looking through a tube? Thanks

Great, do your own and dont watch! Have a nice day!
Can’t see crap, sucky review IMO and + ur wrong about the eotech…I like the aimpoint though.
your wrong about having to center the eothec it always stays on target
Thanks, I’m not really sure since I have not used the tac scope and none of my friends have them either.

can anybody see the red dot?
alright thanks. I’m buying an AR-15 for my house and I’ve been looking for optics to put on it.
They are a bit more expensive than the EOTechs. My model runs about $700 new, but you can find them on ebay for as low as $600 new.
what’s the price on these compared to EOTechs?

can you increase the brightness of the red dot more than whats in the video? looks a tad hard to see unless maybe its just the lighting of the video?

Yes, I have a Comp M3 and Comp ML3, and it’s the same as far a being parallax free.
Aren’t most optics considered parallax “free” after 50m?
Cool, let me know how the fogging goes. Maybe I just got an oddball one that had that problem. Thanks.
